Our gardening workshops encourage people to get outside and enjoy the natural environment. Our skilled practitioners will tailor sessions to suit the needs of your groups – e.g. children, refugees or asylum seekers, older people, and patients with mental ill health. We have policies and procedures in place for health and safety, lone working, safeguarding, handling and infection control. We provide a comprehensive evaluation process to measure the impact of our work. We have extensive professional links with other agencies such as public health departments. Discover more than 20 community gardens to visit via the Good to Grow Greater Manchester online map.

Research shows that food growing and gardening can significantly improve people’s health and wellbeing. Spending time on an allotment or in a community garden just once a week offers amazing benefits: access to fresh and healthy produce, social interaction, exercise, and the therapeutic benefits of nature.
Our food growing and gardening programmes have been used by organisations within the heath sector to treat people experiencing early stage dementia, mental illness, obesity, and cardio vascular disease. Our approach is a cost effective way to achieve better health outcomes for your patients or service users.
